Chapter 3
"Have you ever experienced Déjà Vu moment?"
As I begin to drive away from the abandoned grocery supermarket, I experience a feeling best described as a Déjà Vu moment. Temporarily dazed and confused by these unknown feelings and thoughts, I continue my commute towards Scottsville's enchanted tennis club, an exclusive member's only professional tennis society and host location for roughly fifty-two or more extremely devoted men and women tennis freaks! Shortly into the drive, I get a terrible case of cotton mouth and look around the car cabin for my bottle of water. As I look around, my peripheral vision catches a bright silver laser-like sparkle, very similar to a camera flash coming from the passenger bucket seat area. I recognize the silver square shape as being a Slim-mart cell phone, with the initials JM.
While driving Dr. Miller to his office, his sleek, high tech slim phone must have slipped between the passenger Italian leather seat cushion. Only 10 minutes away I yank a quick U-turn and head back towards the abandoned grocery store to return Dr. Miller's cell phone and hopefully once again win the thanks and appreciation of Dr. Miller's co-associates. After about ten minutes of driving thru wealthy North Scottsville suburbia I arrive and carefully park my sports car back into the same mysteriously abandoned, shopping plaza where I had just dropped off Dr. Miller just minutes
ago.
